Tom Is A Dad!

As of last night - or, early hours of this morning, to be precise.

Both mother and baby - girl - are doing fine. (After 19 hours of labour...)

Will post more once news (ie a name!) becomes available.

July 29th - What A Day!

Well, yesterday was a bit of a mad day!

Tom & Rachel Got Married

It was a nice day. Me & Moose got there a bit late... Basically, we kept asking for directions, but not listening to what we was been told! At one point I even started laughing before the bloke had finished because I realised I had stopped listening once he'd got to about, "Right ok, well you turn left and..."!!

Still, we was only slightly late, and we were bloody hot! We also hadn't put any preperation into how to get from the wedding in Lichfield to the reception in Tamworth! Thankfully James (Toms brother) was on hand, and him and his girlfriend give us a lift.

So we got to the Moat House and it was nice enough. Lovely pub, we originally sat outside but unfortunately it started raining so we went indoors. Me & Moose propped up the bar for the duration of the meal and the speeches, however we did sit down and viewed a magician (who had been hired) - and must say he was absolutely excellent. Did some really good tricks, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who was looking to have something different at a party. If anyone wants his contact details I have a business card, so get in touch and I will pass the details on.

Overall it was a good day. Everyone looked very nice, and Rachel looked gorgeous in her dress. That said, obviously I was the most handsome person there! ha ha! Was nice to catch up with all 3 of the Newton brothers, plus Sickboy, Crank and Kimmie were at the reception for the last 2 and a half hours or so.

Jennings Is A Dad

Mad, aint it. Wyatt Christopher Jennings-Burdge was born on this day. Both mother and baby are doing well.

Spoke to Jennings, he was a mixture of pride and excitement, with a hint of shock, yet all with the standard laid-back attitude that we both possess!

Obviously I have not seen the baby yet, but I am very much looking forward to it. I hope it takes after the mother for it's looks...

Another Jennings had their birth celebrated!

Yes, little Aaron Jennings turned 18 yesterday! Really weird, as I still think of him as being about 11! Hopefully he had a good birthday, I believe he was off to Snobs to celebrate...

Jenny Clarke had a birthday as well

So happy birthday to the mother of Crank, Jamie and Rachel!

All that on the day I came back from a family in holiday in Great Yarmouth!

July - Two Big Events

Event Number One - The boys are coming to see me while I am in Great Yarmouth on July 22nd

Event Number Two - Then the week after, Tom and Rachel get married on the 29th.

With Jennings and Nic due to have their baby not long after, it will be a pretty hectic time...

Still, at least I wont be adding to the fuss with any big events of my own. After all, if it aint broke, don't fix it!
